DODS UNDERWENT MAJOR PROBLEMS WITH FILES ON THEIR COMPUTER.  THEY APPEAR TO BE COMPLETELY FIXED.  WE APOLOGIZE PROFUSELY FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE THIS MAY HAVE CAUSED. ( IF YOUR WONDERING THAT'S WHERE I GET MY LASTEST NEW'S)

-The legal proceedings have ended, and there is a verdict.  The New York Supreme Court denied the application of Jesse, Frankie, Greg and Matt to revoke its prior consent of the production agreement between the performers of Dream Street and the creators of the group. To read a press release from DSE you can go to http://www.dreamstreet.com/newsite/press.htm.  Greg, Frankie, Matt, Jesse and their parents have yet to make an official press release, but they will be heard from in the near future. (Thanks Berny and Kevin)

-The Los Angeles Premiere of Chris' film, The Biggest Fan, will be held at a theater to be announced on Tuesday and Wednesday, August 20th and 21st.  There is a chance there will be an additional screening the next day as well.  At least 20 tickets for each screening will be given out for free, and the rest will be on sale to fans for a minimal fee (in the $10 per ticket range, more info available soon).  If you are interested in reserving seats for any of the screenings head over to http://groups.yahoo.com/group/The_Biggest_Fan/.  Any unreserved tickets will be sold the day of the screenings on a first come, first served basis.  Any reserved tickets not picked up 30 minutes prior to screening will also be given away. There is limited seating available, so sign up early.  If you live far from Los Angeles, don't make your parents crazy, because there will be screenings planned all over the country in the near future.  At the screenings Chris, Kaila, Claudia and some of the other actors and actresses from the film will be available for autographs. (Thanks Kevin!)

(Thanks Ginny, Rachelle and Dorothy!)

****I  apologize for the delay in updates but the site where i get my lastest news  scratched their cornea and was unable to use the computer*

-Claudia recently updated her Picturetrail with a section about the winners of the "I Say Yeah" video contest, from her "Choreographer's Corner" section of the Dream Street Magazine.  The winners, Nicole, Kristen, Christie, Kira and Alyssa created an amazing video according to Claudia, that not only included the dance, but a whole entire music video storyline as well as their own version of the Dream Street interview from the enhanced DS CD.  Congratulations to the girls who will win a prize pertaining to Chris and the "new Dream Street."  You can check out the full "story" at www.picturetrail.com/dsclaudiaswan, in the most recent album, with the password DREAM STREET. (Thanks Erica and Kristen!)

-Chris will be making yet another appearance with girl group Play.  He will be on stage with them on August 7th in Chicago, IL at the Rosemont Theatre, as part of their performance for the Radio Disney Tour.  The show is headlined by the A*Teens, and Baha Men, LMNT, Play and Jump 5 will also be on stage performing live.  There are still tickets available for the event, costing between $19.50 and $29.50 (plus service charges) and they can be purchased at any Ticketmaster outlet, Ticketmaster charge by phone, at the venue box office or at www.ticketmaster.com by using this direct link to the event: https://ticketing.ticketmaster.com/cgi/purchasePage.asp?event_id=40034D8794B1C2C&artistid. (Thanks Kira and Michele!)

-Greg Raposo's official website www.gregraposo.com was updated recently with many more Support Letters which have been sent in by fans to Greg, Jesse, Matt and Frankie as well as their families.  In addition, some new pictures were added to his site today.  Be sure to check everything out!

July 31, 2002

-Greg Raposo's official website www.gregraposo.com <http://www.gregraposo.com> was updated both today and the 29th with more Support Letters which have been sent in by fans to Greg, Jesse, Matt and Frankie as well as their families. Be sure to check them out.

-In Popstar Magazine's email send out they put the following message about Dream Street:

The Dream Street rumor mill is churning again! Fans are reporting that they're receiving e-mails telling them details of what's up with the lawsuit and how it will all pan out. From where we sit, here is what we know: Chris is on the side of the managershe was originally in the lawsuit with Frankie, Greg, Jesse and Matt, but he later changed his mind. Frankie, Greg, Jesse and Matt sent an e-mail expressing their disappointment, but saying that Chris has to do what's best for his career and they have to do what's best for theirs. There is still no ruling in the lawsuit, and the ruling will decide a lot of the details of what will happen next. So far, and this could change, this is what it seems could happen: SITUATION #1: Chris goes solo (and probably becomes a big star) and a whole new Dream Street is formed. That would leave Frankie, Greg, Jesse and Matt on their own to either go solo individually, do their own group or do a couple of groups. (It's possible that their contract will disallow them from all recording together, though they DID all four recently perform at a Long Island radio show...and they were GREAT!). SITUATION #2: Chris headsup a whole new Dream Street with four fresh members, and the other guys are still on their own. We don't see any other possibility, at least not right now. We really hope all parties concerned end up where they want to be, but if you're a fan, rest assured that we will bring you the whole story and that we will be covering Chris, Dream Street, Frankie, Greg, Jesse and Matt when all the dust settleswe're big fans of all concerned!

In addition, the second question in their online poll asks:

IF CHRIS TROUSDALE GOES SOLO AND THERE IS A WHOLE NEW LINEUP IN DREAM STREET (WITH THE ORIGINAL MEMBERS BEING FORCED TO LEAVE), HOW WOULD YOU FEEL?
(a) I love Chris no matter what and I'll give a new Dream Street a chance!
(b) It would be weird, but I'd be curious about Chris solo and a new Dream Street.
(c) I would never accept a new Dream Street and shame on Chris!

(Thanks Karin and Tiya!)

July 28, 2002

EVENING:
-Greg and Jesse both recorded a jingle for Charmin.  The commercial is being aired right now on Radio Disney. The boys had a lot of fun recording it and it's very cute!  Greg starts the jingle off and then Jesse's part follows.  Listen for it!  (Thanks Jillian!)

MORNING:

-Greg's Official Website has been updated once again!  20 more support letters have been posted, along with some more Greg fan photos.  You can check it all out by heading over to www.gregraposo.com.

-Here is a message from the president of the new Official Chris Trousdale Fan Club:

My name is Anna & I am the President of Chris Trousdale's Official Fan Club. As of right now, we would like to have a mailing list of Chris fans. Once we get the fan club going, we will send out flyers/postcards/something with information about the fan club. Then, you will decide for yourself if you want to officially join or not.

If you would like to sign up for the fan club mailing list & street team (Both are FREE), please provide your name, address, phone # (w/ area code), email addy (for the online street team) and birthday (include year). I know most parents do not like to give certain info out, therefore, whatever info you can give me would be fine.

Email information to
DreamStreetGirl@aol.com

Thank you and have a nice day,
Anna

The details for the fan club are still being worked out, but you can join the mailing list for information about it as it becomes available.

-Greg Raposo's official website www.gregraposo.com <http://www.gregraposo.com> was updated yesterday with more Support Letters which have been sent in by fans to Greg, Jesse, Matt and Frankie as well as their families. In addition, recently Ask Greg questions and some photographs have been added. Be sure to check them out!

-If you purchased tickets for the Palmerton Hospital Telethon on August 3rd in Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania, under the impression that Dream Street would be performing at the event, you can now get a refund, since they will not be in attendance. (This is why in the future you should wait until an official source confirms an appearance). To get a refund on your $30 ticket you can return their tickets to the point of purchase beginning Monday, July 29, or at Penn's Peak (where the event was to be held) on Aug. 3. The Foundation Concert Committee is working on the details to conduct an orderly refund. These details will be available at 800-581-7877. Their slot in the telethon will be replaced with local talent if you're still interested in attending. (Thanks Holly!)

-Last night Greg, Frankie, Matt and Jesse made the crowd go wild at BLI's Summer Jam on Long Island, New York. It was a great treat for all of their devoted fans who showed up to show their support and love to the boys, who most hadn't seen for months. The boys signed autographs for a never ending line and surprised the fans by performing two songs acapella, "Sugar Rush," and the highly appropriate "Matter of Time." Even though it rained for part of the outdoor concert the beaming smiles from audience members during their performance were like sunrays themselves.

-Some photographs from the show can be found at
www.wbli.com by clicking on the link on the main page http://wbli.com/about_us/summer_jam_2002_pics.html. From there click on the link that says Check out Puffy's Summer Jam Pics (the other pictures will be up sometime this weekend). Once you get to that page look to the left hand side where all the acts are listed and click on Frankie, Matt, Greg & Jesse. There are only a few pictures, but the guys look great. We'll let you know when the rest of the pictures are up. (Thanks Michelle!)

July 17, 2002

-Claudia's Picturetrail has recently been updated with photographs from Chris' trip to Los Angeles for the taping of All That (which should air on Nickelodeon sometime in September). You can access the pictures of Chris goofing around backstage with the girls of Play and more by going to http://www.picturetrail.com/dsclaudiaswan, choosing the most recent album at the bottom, 7-11 & 12- 2002- Chris at Nicks "All That." (http://www.picturetrail.com/gallery/view?p=999&gid=986915&uid=411895) From there you simply need to type in the password DREAM STREET and then you'll be able to access the pictures! (Thanks Ginnie and Jess!)

-In more Chris news, according to
www.play-central.com (the official Play website), he will be joining the girl group at their performance in the Roosevelt Field Mall Sam Goody in Garden City, Long Island, NY. The performance is set for 6PM on Thursday, July 25th. The mall is located at Old Country Road and Meadowbrook Parkway and for more information you can call the store at (516) 742-8000. (Thanks Monica and Mary!)

-Last night Greg made an appearance on WBLI (106.1) in Long Island, where he spoke with Bobby Fester the DJ, and sang a little bit of "It Happens Every Time."  Maybe you caught it!  Remember, tomorrow is WBLI's Summer Jam where Greg, Matt, Jesse and Frankie will be appearing.  If you plan on attending the signing keep in mind that you do need a ticket for the concert.

-Maryann Raposo has sent out an Official Update.  It includes a message from Greg, Frankie, Jesse and Matt as well as information about upcoming events and rumored events.  You can read it below:

Hi, I am so sorry for not sending out a response to your emails sooner.  Believe me I really wanted to, but I just wasn't able to. I have over 6,000 opened e-mails in my saved file that I will try and get to. Please remember that all e-mails are read, but not all can be answered. I am sure after reading this email that many of you will have so so many questions. I cannot give you anymore information at this time. Please do not e-mail me with questions. I promise to keep you informed  as more information becomes available. Thank you all for your continued support. God Bless, Maryann Raposo

A  RESPONSE TO ALL YOUR EMAILS FROM GREG, MATT, FRANKIE & JESSE
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We want to thank you for your loyal support and patience while the legal proceedings are still going on.  As most of you already know, we have filed a lawsuit against our producers because of some ongoing morality and financial issues.  We re not going to get into a bad-mouthing session here that's totally not our style.  But take our word for it, our parents were really concerned about us and we're behind them 100%.  You have to ask yourself  would anyone walk away from the possibility of stardom without a good reason?  Not us, no way.

We have already presented our case in court, as have our producers, and as of today, the court has not issued a final ruling.   This is different from what you' re hearing from our producers, who are leaking misinformation to various web sites, media, and even through the producer of "The Biggest Fan."

It is true that Chris Trousdale has decided to side with the producers after originally siding with us, but don't t fault or pass judgment on Chris.  We wish he was still on our side, but he's only doing what he feels is best for him and his career.  We will do the same.  If this means that we continue to perform all together or separately, we will all be involved in the music industry in some capacity.

As for all the rumors, they are just that, rumors! There will always be two sides to every story.  In the near future, you will be reading and hearing all types of accusations and inaccuracies.  Please try to keep an open mind and do not get caught up in all the hype.  We hope you continue to support us and be positive in your thinking.

The worst part of this whole thing is how much we miss performing for you, our fans!  After all, performing is what we love to do best.  More than anything, we wish we could still be together, singing our hearts out for you.

This should all be resolved soon. Your continued support and love means everything to us.  We want to be back in your hearts soon!

Thanks and keep us in your prayers!
Greg, Frankie, Jesse, and Matt

-Many people have been emailing asking if it's true Jesse is in a Sunny Delight commercial. Well thanks to Chelsea at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dreamstreetvisuals I've gotten a chance to see the commercial myself, and it's definitely Jesse! You can see him playing video games and hanging around with some other boys in the commercial. If you haven't seen it on television, check it out by joining http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dreamstreetvisuals and downloading it.  It's not the best quality, but it's better than nothing! (Thanks Chelsea and Juliet!)

HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY

-The most recent issue of Blast! Magazine is filled with DS.  There are 2 pinups of Dream Street, 3 letters from fans requesting Dream Street on page 4, an article about Chris and Play and a pinup of Chris and Play on pages 62-63, as well as an article about Dream Street and their lawsuit on page 74. (Thanks Kara!)

-The newest issue of J-14 Magazine also mentions Dream Street, in a semi-negative way.  On page 34, in the "If You Had to Choose" column they ask if you'd rather be stuck in an elevator with DS or have a Hanson CD stuck in your CD player. (Thanks Kelsey!)

-www.Tommy2.net has a new interview with Matt Ballinger.  It can be found on the main page of the site, and is called "5 Minutes with Matt Ballinger."  (Thanks Lauren and Nicole!)

July 2, 2002

-There are so many crazy rumors being spread, so here is a message from Maryann Raposo (Greg's Mom):

I have been getting so many e-mails from fans. I am not allowed by the courts to really comment on the situation. All I can say is that the judge has not made her ruling. I will also say that it is true that Chris has sided with the producers ( Brian & Louie). Greg, Matt, Frankie and Jesse stand strong and united.  I will send out an update as soon as possible to all the fans. Greg, Matt, Frankie and Jesse appreciate all the support of their fans. Keep The Faith and Keep The Boys In Your Prayers,  Thank You, Maryann Raposo

Please do not email Maryann asking questions, as soon as there is more information she can give you, you'll get it, don't worry.

June 27, 2002

-According to Jesse's official website, www.jessemccartney.com, unforunately the pilot for the series he taped in Canada, "Legacy of Cameron Cruz" was not picked up for this season on Nickelodeon because the network couldn't find a spot for it.  Don't give up hope though, the producers of the show are shopping around for other channels that may want to pick it up, but for now, we won't be seeing the show.

-The July issue of Popstar Magazine, mentions Jesse's pilot for "Legacy of Cameron Cruz" as well.  (Thanks Darlene!)

-www.kriselen.com's poll of the week asks, If I could tour with any of the following artists, I would tour with?, and among the choices is Dream Street.  Head over to the site and look to the right hand side and give Dream Street your vote!  The guys are in the lead, so keep them there!  (Thanks Suzanne!)

June 25, 2002

-Dream Street fans and fans of M Magazine (one of our favorite magazines which has always greatly supported Dream Street) be sure the check out this "press release" from M:

Dear Dream Street fans,

As you probably know, M magazine has always supported Dream Street and featured them as much as we can in our magazine.  Unfortunately, over the past few months, the lawsuit between Dream Street and their producers has made it difficult for us to cover the boys as much as we'd like to.  We've received thousands of e-mails and letters from Dream Street fans asking us if the guys are going to break up, when the lawsuit will be over, if Chris is leaving the band, etc. etc.  As of right now, we cannot release any new information.  However, our August issue, which comes out on July 22, will address all of the rumors that have been floating around and will also provide you with the latest information that you will not be able to find anywhere else.  Thank you so much to everyone who has been supporting M's coverage of Dream Street over the past few months; we really appreciate it.

Sincerely,
The M Editors

-In the August issue of Popstar Magazine there are two drawing of Jesse from the fans, Valentines Day contest winners shown on pages 8 and 9, an article about Chris and Play on page 23 (who's CD came out today, on a side note), on page 72 there's a paragraph written by a fan telling about her experience at a DS concert, on pages 76-79 you can check out which categories Dream Street and Dream Street members won or were runners up in for the 1st Annual Popstar Awards, and on page 82 there is a mention of Dream Street and their future.  Also on page 17 there is an article about a new group called Triple Image and one of the girls confesses she has a crush on Chris--aw!  Be sure to pick up your copy today! (Thanks Kari!)

-According to the TV Guide and www.tvguide.com the episode of Law and Order for which Jesse was a guest star will be repeating tomorrow night at midnight and then on Thursday the 27th at 7:00PM EST on TNT.  Jesse plays a member of a hockey team in the episode entitled "Thin Ice." (Thanks Kristin and Sarah!)

June 24, 2002

-Greg will be performing this Saturday, June 29, for The Kids For Kids Project in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for the Annual Parent Project Conference.  Unfortunately fans can not attend because the event is an annual convention where scientist and families of boys with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy come from all over the world to discuss how much closer they are getting to find a cure.  The last day of the convention is the Kids For Kids performance.  Greg wrote a song called "For The Boys" and he will performing it with his guitar as part of the show. This show as well as every Kids for Kids performance is very important and special to Greg and it's very emotional for all who attend.  It's great to know Greg is getting an opportunity to perform, and continuing to help find a cure for DMD!  (Thanks Maryann!)

-In other great news, Dream Street's very own Matt Ballinger just booked a movie and will be taping this August. More details about the movie are coming soon.  Matt who we all know has done tons of theater will surely do a great job acting on screen! (Thanks Maryann!)

June 23, 2002

-On June 21st, Chip Deffaa wrote a review of the Bernadette Peters show that Chris performed in. The review greatly praised the show overall and briefly mentions Chris saying: The triumph was not hers alone. Director Richard Jay Alexander added welcome touches of theatricality - perfect little flourishes that made a grand night even grander. Like having backup performer Chris Trousdale swivel a "Dream Street"-style dance spin at the end of "Doe, a Deer." The full article can be found at http://nypost.com/entertainment/44395.htm. (Thanks Henna!)

-The music website, www.katrillion.com, has a new poll asking Who Is Summer's Hottest Hottie? It asks a series of questions, and "Any of the Dream Street Hotties" is a choice for questions asking, "If I could choose a celebrity dream date, I'd choose...," "This hottie would take me on the most exciting date," "This person would be the most boring date," and "Which date would your parents be most pleased to meet?" Head over to http://aol.katrillion.com/music/music_booth.jsp?categoryId=173&surveyId=7273 to cast your votes and vote for DS (well except for as the most boring date!)  They could use as many votes as possible to boost them up in the good categories! (Thanks Pamela!)

-Greg Raposo's Official Website has been updated!  There are new answers to the Ask Greg questions and some new links!  Be sure to check it out at www.gregraposo.com.

June 22, 2002

-AOL's Welcome Screen today featured a Summer Fashion: See celebrity do's and dont's and the last fashion do shows a picture of Dream Street sporting tank tops! (Thanks Kira and Kristine!)

-There is another unconfirmed Chris appearance. According to
http://tvtickets.com/, on July 12th Chris and girl group Play will be appearing on Nickelodeon's sketch comedy show, All That. Also scheduled for that episode are Fabolous and Lil' Bow Wow. If you live in the Los Angeles area you can reserve tickets to be in the live studio audience of All That at http://tvtickets.com/FMPro?-DB=Web+Site+Shows&-Format=showdetail.htm&-lay=Form+View&show=all+that&-Max=1&-Find. Remember this has not yet been 100% confirmed. If the apperance occurs, you can expect to see the episode towards the beginning of the 8th season of All That. (Thanks Adele!)

June 21, 2002

-Check out this weeks issue of Billboard Magazine on page 12, where they discuss Play's new EP in an article with a brief mention of Chris!  For more info on the EP, and to purchase your copy check out the DODS Store. (Thanks Eileen!)

June 17, 2002

-According to a variety of sources, Chris Trousdale will be performing as part of a children's choir opening the Bernadette Peters Concert at Radio City Music Hall in New York, NY this Wednesday, June 19 along with Jill Schackner, Barry Cavanagh, Alexis Kalehoff, Ashley Rose Orr, Jillian Bowen, Alex Bowen and Cameron Bowen.  There are only a limited number of tickets available for the show, but keep in mind Chris will only be in a very limited part of the show, tickets are not cheap, and it has not been 100% confirmed that he will be at the show.  If you would still like to attend the event you can purchase tickets at Ticketmaster Online or charge by phone at 212-307-7171.  Tickets cost between $40-75.  (Thanks Shana!)

-Dream Street is featured in the magazine POP 2002.  There are 2 pin-ups and two articles (one about Dream Street's success and one about Chris and Play).  There is a small picture of group on the front cover of the magazine, and mentions briefly about the lawsuit. (Thanks Casey and Jmcfan1!)

-In addition to the DS goodies we already told you about in the July issue of M Magazine there's also a picture of Chris on the front cover and one of the whole group excluding Chris on page 3, as well as a poem written about Matt on page 44. (Thanks Annessa!)

-If you haven't seen the commercials advertising the "Play Power Pack" on Fox Family, Nickelodeon, etc., the commercial for the girl group Play, features a clip of the "I'm Gonna Make You Love Me" video featuring Chris and you can check it out online at www.play-central.com. (Thanks Amy!)

-In a recent issue of Soap Opera Digest in the "It's Only My Opinion" section, someone wrote in saying, "I think ALL MY CHILDREN made a big mistake recasting the pivotal role of J.R. Chandler just before giving the character front-burner story. That little Jesse McCartney was one of the best actors on all of daytime. Can you see that tear-stained face sobbing to Tad or yelling at David or mourning Dixie? AMC could have broken our hearts and given us believable triangles (and who knows how much else?) if they hadn't tried to fix what wasn't even broken now."  I think every DS fan can agree we miss seeing Jesse acting on AMC too!  (Thanks Lauren)

June 15 2002

-Today Chris Trousdale is a year older! DODS wants to wish him a happy 17th birthday. Hope he had a good one!

-If you missed Chris' appearance on E!'s Wild On special at the Cannes Film Festival, which first aired on June 4th, Tommy2.NET <http://www.tommy2.net> will hook you up! You can check out that segment at <http://www.tommy2.net/video.htm>.

June 10, 2002

I apologizes greatly for the lack of updates this past week. Kim (where I get my news) was having some computer problems, which all have been [hopefully] resolved!

-"I'm Gonna Make You Love Me" seems to be quite a success for Play and Chris! It's been heard frequently on Radio Disney, and moved from the 10th to number 3 spot on the weekly Radio Disney Top 30! The song was also chosen as Nick Video Pick of the day on Friday afternoon, and then won Nick Video Pick of the week on Sunday! Commercials have also been spotted for a PLAY pack which has a variety of Play merchandise as well as their DVD which includes behind the scenes of the video for IGMYLM. Chris is on it towards the middle of the commercial. In Addition ! (Thanks Lauren, Kathleen, Kelly and Jessi!)

-The Ask Greg section on Greg's Official Website, www.gregraposo.com has been updated with new questions and answers. Be sure to check them out!

-Some radio stations, newspapers and even ticketmaster have been announcing dates that Dream Street will be performing. We have chosen not to post any of these dates, because they are all unconfirmed, especially with the legal proceedings taking place right now. We don't want people getting their hopes up and angry over events that DS may not even be at (as happened with the Aaron tour.)  We are keeping a list of all the events though and as they get confirmed (if they do) we will post them here!

-Head over to www.katrillion.com where they have yet another poll including Dream Street!  It's a music feature entitled "VOTE: Who's the Hottest Opening Act?."  Dream Street are choices for both question number 2 and question number 4.  Right now they're behind in the standings, so be sure to vote!

April 14, 2002

-Details in the legal proceedings between the members of Dream Street and Dream Street Entertainment have been released in a daily bulletin sent out by Billboard, only within the industry.  It has not been confirmed by either side (the members of the group or the producers) but the article states that officers of Dream Street Entertainment were involved in manufacturing and production of pornographic materials, unknown to the group members and their families.  Two pornographic publications used the same address as the one used for Dream Street Entertainment.  DODS (http://www.downondreamstreet.com/) and Dream Street World (http://www.dreamstreetworld.com/), The Official Street Team and Official Fan Club Newsletter wants to remind you that this has not been confirmed by either side. The boys appreciate your support. Please do not ask any questions concerning this matter. Thank You.

(additional note: this pornographic material is NOT of Dream Street)

-Dream Street is mentioned in another article on www.katrillion.com.  If you head over to the article "The 10 Hottest Music Stars Under 18" and click on page 2, you can read a paragraph about the group and why they've been put on the list!

-If you head over to http://pbskids.org/zoom/reviews/dreamstreet.shtml, you can read thoughts posted by fans on Dream Street, their music, their dance moves and more!  Then, fans give DS a rating, and right now they have the best possible!  The majority of comments come from younger fans, but stop by and drop your own!

April 11, 2002

-YOU HEARD IT HERE FIRST! Maryann Raposo will be sending out an Official Dream Street Update shortly, but there are many rumors floating around (because of an announcement Z100 made today saying that Dream Street was breaking up).

DREAM STREET ANNOUNCEMENT
------------------------------------------------

We know that a lot of rumors and stories are being circulated about the group and it's future so we wanted to respond to let you know what's going on and to set the record straight. On Tuesday, April 9th we filed legal proceedings against Dream Street Entertainment, Inc., the company that's run by Louie Baldonieri and Brian Lukow with the help of Matt Mitchell. In the legal papers, we asked the court to terminate the agreement between the group and Dream Street Entertainment because of conduct of Louie, Brian and Matt that we truly believe is threatening the boys' well-being. While the details are set forth in the court papers, because of the legal proceedings we think that it's best not to comment any further and to let the court decide how to handle things. There is hearing before the court on Monday, April 15th and we will let you know what happens. Be assured that Dream Street is not breaking up. In fact, the group has never felt more strongly about it's future and about staying together.

I know you all have many many questions regarding this. Please try your hardest not to e-mail me with questions. I promise to keep you all up to date will all official information as I receive it. Greg, Frankie, Matt, Jesse & Chris appreciate all your support.

One more request. If you feel the need to e-mail me please write in the subject "I am On Your Update List ."

Keep Us In Your Prays,

Maryann Raposo

Also, to clarify, unlike DREAM ON WITH DREAM STREET reported, Jesse will not be leaving Dream Street at this time. He 100% for sure has not "officially resigned" from the group as the aforementioned site has said and I just wanted to clear that up. Have we ever supplied you with incorrect news? I think not.

9:54 PM

Now just in from
www.jessemccarntey.com http://www.jessemccarntey.com

Jesse has NOT quit the band. Jesse intends to and wants to do both Dream Street and the television series. Details just have to be worked out.

April 3, 2002

-Many rumors have been floating around about Jesse having a role on a Nickelodeon TV series, due to a mention in an ABC Soaps magazine.  If you're looking for the facts, check out this release from Jesse's Official Website, www.jessemccartney.com (Thanks Jaz, Kari and everyone else who informed us about this!).  The release follows:

Two questions have come up recently.  Soaps In Depth magazine mentioned Jesse doing a TV series.  What is this about?  How did Soaps In Depth know about this before it was on the web site and before you (his publicist)?  Several months ago Jesse filmed a pilot for a series on Nickelodeon called "Legacy of Cameron Cruz."  Jesse plays the lead character Cameron Cruz.  When Jesse was in Toronto filming the pilot episode he missed some DS appearances and concerts and the rumors were going around that he was sick or something.  He was not sick.  He was working on this project.  Two weeks ago we set up an interview with Soaps In Depth for Jesse and told them about the pilot so Jesse could talk about it.  The Soaps In Depth article just came out before we thought it would.  We had not mentioned anything on the site before then because we were waiting to hear if the pilot had been picked up for a full season on Nickelodeon.  We still don't know for sure.  All I can tell you is the show is great!  It has done well with test audiences and we expect Nickelodeon to order a full season of episodes.  We will tell you here when we get the news.  Of course we knew about it when it happened several months ago!  To answer the question before it is asked....What is it about?  A "Sixth Sense" for television.  Cameron Cruz's life is set into a tailspin when he must move from his native Los Angeles to Savannah, Georgia in search of his Grandfather who has mysteriously disappeared.  Cameron's big city attitude often clashes with the small town locals, but these everyday difficulties are nothing compared to the unexpected "gift" that his Grandfather has left for him - the ability to see into the past and future.

-If you'd like to check out some Dream Street Meet & Greet pictures from their singing at the Pheasant Lane Mall in New Hampshire on February, you can check out their website, http://www.pheasantlanemall.com/, in the News & Events section (or just follow this link: http://www.pheasantlanemall.com/n/86.htm. (Thanks Amy!)

-Dream Street are all over Popstar Magazine again, in their May issue (on stands April 9th)!  and be sure to cast your votes for Dream Street for the first annual POPSTAR! Awards.  You can check Jesse out in a feature called "Invasion of the Blonds!"  There is also a Dream Street centerfold, a contest to win a phone call from Dream Street and more!  Check out www.popstarmag.com for more info, or pick up a copy when it's on stands!

March 30, 2002

***-Head over to www.tommy2.net and you can check out some DS pictures and a 26 second clip of Chris singing in the hallway backstage before one of the Aaron Carter shows.  Pretty cool! (Thanks Rachael!)

March 28, 2002

***-Greg's official website www.gregraposo.com has updated the Ask Greg section and added photos to the Pictures section once again.  Be sure to check the updates out, and expect more updates to his site throughout the week.

***-There are many rumors floating around about some alleged summer tour dates. DODS has made it a practice not to post information until it is 99.9% confirmed, which those dates are far from.  Posting information that may possibly be incorrect causes much unnecessary confusion and disappointment.  You know that you can count on us to keep you posted on with accurate information as soon as it is available but if you're looking for rumors you will have to look to another site.

***-In the recent issue of the Aaron Carter Magazine Dream Street is featured slightly. On page 88 there's a picture of them at the WBLI Winter Jam with Aaron in the background, on page 91 there is one with the other artists appearing at Winter Jam and on page 96 there is a picture with the caption: Dream Street was given a true opportunity to shine by serving as one of Aaron's dynamic opening acts. Very cool.

***In the May 2002 issue of M Magazine there is a 4 page sized "autographed" poster of DS. Greg is then featured in the "How Stuff Works" and "Celebrity Bloopers" sections. Jesse is also featured in "Star 'Scopes" and Dream Street (Chris and Greg) in the "Making Wishes Come True." On the "Fun Pages" you can find a DS picture with a blank body for you to put your best headshot! Also, on the "Express Yourself" page, there is a note, poem and drawing all dedicated to DS! If that wasn't enough there is a chance to WIN a shirt that Chris wore in his movie "The Biggest Fan."

March 24, 2002

-Head over to www.jessemccartney.com, and go to http://www.jessemccartney.com/jesse_questions_32102.html
(or follow the link from the News page), and you can check out his first answers to the Jesse Question/Answers.
Read through them, and through the rest of his site and if something you'd like to know is unanswered you can ask
your own question by sending it to
webmaster@jessemccartney.com. (Thanks Sydney!)
-Jesse's site also brings up an important point that I'd like to make clear to many people who have emailed me
about the same topic.  Dream Street stopped touring with Aaron Carter after March 2nd.  They were never
contracted to perform at a concert after that date, though ticket master, the venues, and both radio and newspaper
advertisements may have announced Dream Street would be opening at the shows.  If you went to a concert in the
hopes of seeing Dream Street and were disappointed to find they were not there, please do not take this out on the
boys.  They would have loved to have been at the concerts but they had school obligations that they could not get
out of.  If you check any official Dream Street website (
www.dreamstreet.com, www.gregraposo.com or

www.jessemccartney.com), in addition to any e-mails sent from the Official Dream Street Street Team (to join send
       a blank email to
Official_DreamStreet_ST-subscribe@yahoogroups.com), it was never stated that Dream Street
would be at shows after the Las Vegas on on March 2nd.  If you were under the impression that they would be,
please do not put the fault on the members of Dream Street.  Thanks!  I just wanted to clear things up :)

-The Albany, NY radio station, FLY 92, which has sponsored past Dream Street events (such as the concert at the Wal-Mart in Halfmoon, NY and the concert at Northern Lights in Clifton Park, NY) annually hold a summer concert called the Fly Fling. This year they want the fans to choose the acts to appear. So you can head over to http://www.fly92.com and click on Fly Fling 2002 and then click on More Info and fill it out, making sure to include Dream Street as your first, if not only choice for an act at the show. (Thanks Jen-- GREAT IDEA!)

-The April issue of Pop Star magazine has it's share of Dream Street! There is a small picture of the boys on the front cover, a picture of Chris on page 6, page 24 has a little picture of Greg, there is a huge DS centerfold in the middle of the magazine, and pages 63 and 64 include an interview with Chris mainly about "The Biggest Fan." Not only that, there is a page that includes information on purchasing Dream Street merchandise, as well as Dream Street goodies on the page with fan submissions! (Thanks Kari!)

February 23, 2002

-Please be reminded that the FYE signing and Aaron Carter concert, both scheduled for Utah on March 1st, as well as the FYE signing on March 5th in South Dakota will not be taking place.  The Aaron Carter concert in SD is still on, but DREAM STREET WILL NOT BE OPENING, so if you have tickets, you can still check Aaron out, but DS will not be there.

-Today at 2:00PM EST, Radio Disney premiered "They Don't Understand" on the Radio Disney Mailbag.  Listeners called in to give their input and the majority were impressed with the song and liked it a lot.  Although to old fans of Dream Street, this song was their first single, it's new to a lot of people, so expect to hear the song invading the playlist on Radio Disney!

-You can find Dream Street on the pages of M Magazine's April 2002 issue. There is a two page spread of baby pictures of each member and a little article about what they were like when they were younger. There is also a DS pinup as well as a lyric card to the song "I Say Yeah". (Thanks Annessa!)

-Dream Street can also be found in the March 2002 issue of Tiger Beat with Britney Spears on the cover.  There is a page with a couple of celeb spotting pictures and one is of DS at Planet Hollywood's press conference last April with the caption: Street Party "Our new favorite cuites also showed up at Planet Hollywood New York-Time's Square. Dream Street signed autographs and performed for fans. Dreamy and sweet, did we mention we love these guys?"

February 19, 2002

-http://www.kriselen.com is given you the chance to win a copy of the Dream Street "It Happens Every Time" single as well as a signed DS poster and a video copy of Kriselen's last interview with the boys. In addition, Kriselen will possibly be doing a follow up interview with the boys, and you can submit questions to them on the bottom right hand side of the main page.

-Nick.com has added Dream Street's video for "I Say Yeah" to their Pop Stop! THe video is the same one that appears on the CD single, from the DS DVD. Be sure to head over to http://www.nick.com/music/popstop/ to see the video for yourself. If you like what you see head over to the DODS Store and buy a copy of the DVD, VHS or the single for yourself

-Jesse has been nominated once again for a Young Artist Award in the category of Best Performance in a TV Drama Series for the role he acted as Junior in All My Children for a large part of the past year. He is up against Jared Daperis and Scotty Levenworth. Jesse walked away last year as the winner... let's see if he can make out the same way this year! The winners will be announced by the Young Artist Awards Foundation on Sunday, April 7th. Keep your fingers crossed. (Thanks Jessica!)

-Check out Popstar magazine for March 2002! There is a small picture of DS on the front cover and inside find an interview on page 18, separate pinups of each guy on pages 19-23, a centerfold on page 48 and a tiny mention on page 82. The guys are decked out in very patriotic outfits and look great! (Thanks Amy!)

-Check out Dream Street in M Magazine's March 2002 issue! There is an old picture as a pinup on page 22 and an article/interview on page 23. There are also some behind the scenes pictures from "The Biggest Fan."

-According to Radio Disney's entertainment report with David Cutty, the soundtrack for "The Biggest Fan" will feature new songs from Dream Street and Myra and will be in stores at the end of March. Then, according to a news piece from early January that was found on CDNow.com, the soundtrack will be in stores on March 25th and will feature the songs "With All My Heart," "Miss You," an updated version of "I Say Yeah," and one song still unrevealed as well as songs from other Edel recording artists, Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Ruby Blue, Da Buzz and 3rd Faze as well as Myra and Shanelle. This is not 100% correct. The release date will NOT be March 25th, but when one if available we'll let you know. (Thanks Penny, Bria and Kevin!)

February 6, 2002

-There is a feature on Lindsay Pagano in www.teenmag.com's "Watch This Face" section. Lindsay mentions Dream Street quite a few times (about touring with them and having met them before...). You can check it out for yourself at http://www.teenmag.com/starstuff/watchthisface/. Dream Street is also featured as a CD/group to check out in their "Music to My Ears" section.

-At yesterday's Aaron Carter concert in Lowell, Massachusetts, Greg surprised all the fans in attendance by taking out his guitar, and sharing his talent during the song "Jennifer Goodbye" (much like he did at a Broadway Kids show in November). Cross your fingers and hope Greg does the same at your next concert!

-Dream Street are featured again at www.katrillion.com. Click on the article entitled "Boy Band Mania." Dream Street are the 6th page, and you can not only check out pictures and a brief bio on the guys, but you can vote in the poll to the right, asking "hot or not." (Thanks Jes!)

-Both Greg and Jesse's Official websites (www.gregraposo.com and www.jessemccartney.com) have recently been updated to include the new tour dates. Jesse's also includes news about the "Dream Street" movie, as well as a confirmation on the fact that he does indeed have braces on his top teeth. Lastly, there is a message stating that Jesse will begin a section on his site similar to Greg's "Ask Greg" section (which was also recently updated). You can begin to submit questions for Jesse to webmaster@jessemccartney.com.

- Check out March issue of M for a pic of DS and a story about them and their movie. Also Popstar (march for a awsome mini mag)

LATE NIGHT

-It seems as though there was a miscommunication and Dream Street WILL be performing a live concert at tomorrow's Naples Fair in Florida (so ignore the below information about that event from Maryann's update). It's at the Vineyards Community Theater in Naples, FL. Doors open at 12 noon and Dream Street goes on stage at about 3PM. While you're there look for the souvenir black Dream Street t-shirts with "Naples" on one said and 1/26 on the other. Tickets can should be available at the door. (Thanks Kevin!)

-If you read in Maryann's update that the Aaron Carter concert in Trenton is beginning at 3:00, it was a typo, and the doors actually open at 5:00PM. Dream Street will be the second act to go on, approximately 30 minutes into the show.

EVENING
-The latest issue of Teen People, for March 2002, has a picture of Dream Street in "Star Tracks" on page 58 from Style Jam in December. The caption says "While DREAM STREET gave an energetic performance at TEEN PEOPLE'S Style Jam event, the magazine's staff scoured the crowd for potential models to appear in a fashion shoot. The lucky teens were then brought to Madison Square Garden for the Jingle Bell concert, sponsored by NYC radio station Z100. Pick up your copy, and then write to teen people and ask for more DS in the magazine! (Thanks Kathleen and Lauren!)
-AOL members, head over to keyword: Kids Only, and click on the TV/Music/Movies link (or the picture of Greg Raposo and Ashley Angel) or the link on the top left of the window that says "Dream Street or OTown? Who do YOU think is better? Vote!" Then, when the next window pops up, click on vote. Then there are a series of questions including which group sounds the best, which group has the best dance moves, which group has the cutest guys and which group is your overall favorite? Please head over put in your votes for Dream Street-- it's very close, so your voets are needed to get Dream Street in a far lead! (Thanks Lia and Lizzy!)

-Pennsylvania/Central Jersey's POP TV SHOW will have an entire show dedicated to Dream Street coming up this weekend. It will feature an exclusive interview with all the boys from their concert at the Crocodile Rock Cafe in Allentown, PA. The show airs in different places in the area, on different channels at different times. To see if it's being shown in your area, head over to www.poptvshow.com and then click on showtimes (http://www.poptvshow.com/showtimes.html). (Thanks Danielle!)

-I usually do not post things like this-- so please don't ask me to, but there is a very cool auction going on at ebay, and since it's for charity, I thought it'd be nice to post something about it here. If you head over to http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1505394136 you can bid on a pair of gloves that once belonged to Greg, signed by him, as well as a sign he wrote stating "you can buy this glove on ebay!" and a picture of him giving the glove a kiss! There is only one day left in the auction, and all the money will go towards one of Greg's charities, yet to have been decided on.

-Last night Maryann Raposo sent out a Quick Official Dream Street Update. If you'd like receive the updates you can email her at Gregsworld12345@aol.com with your email address. Below are the important points brought out:

*Many people believed Dream Street would be performing as part of "Party in the Park" in Naples, FL. Dream Street WILL NOT be at this appearance, so don't show up!

*On February 25, 2002, Dream Street will perform at Christian School in Bakersfield, CA, the winning school in last years Kraft Lunchables DS contest! The show begins at 12:30PM, followed by a meet and greet with the group from 1:30-3:00PM. This event is only open to the students attending the school. Congratulations to the winners!

*Since Dream Street won the Nick Video Pick competition on Thursday, so it's the fans' job to vote all weekend long for "It Happens Every Time" to be number one on the countdown, which is shown through Teen Nick, beginning at 8PM. Head over to http://www.nick.com/music/nick_video and cast your vote for DS all weekend long. You can vote as many times as you want, so keep voting and make a difference!

*Frequently Asked Questions to Maryann:

1. Will there be meet and greets at the Aaron Carter Concerts?
At this time I cannot answer that questions cause I am not sure. If there will be any kind of meet and greet at the concerts I am sure it will be announced there.

2. How can I get backstage passes?
Dream Street management cannot offer any backstage passes for the Aaron Carter concerts.

3. Can you tell me about the movie "The Biggest Fan?"
At this time I'd rather not comment on that movie. As soon as I feel the time is right I will tell you. Promise. (please keep in mind, this is the same state of mind DODS is going to take on this one...)

January 24, 2002

-Today Frankie Galasso, the oldest member of Dream Street is a year older! DODS wants to wish him a happy 17th birthday and the best of luck for the year to come. (Frankie-- we hope all your dreams come true

(Thanks Maryann!)

-According to the Official Dream Street website, for the 4th issue of the Dream Street Magazine they want articles from the fans! If you have pictures and/or stories from a Dream Street concert that you would like to share with other Dream Street fans, send them to Dreamstreet The Magazine, 153 West 27th St. #1005, New York, NY 10001. The deadline for all material is January 21st so get your articles in ASAP!
-Yesterday on the New York Radio Station Z100 they were discussing girls who only dated guys for money. A girl called in claiming she dated Jesse McCartney, saying she used him for his money and fame, and told the station stories that ocurred involving him. If you were tuned in and heard this, it is not true.

January 2, 2002

-The entertainment website, www.katrillion.com, which had a great Dream Street feature in the past recently added a video interview that they conducted after WBLI's Winter Jam. The boys share their excitement after such a successful appearance as well as discuss things such as other boy bands, celebrity crushes and what they wanted for Christmas. It's quite cute and very funny! Check out the short article about their appearance at Winter Jam at Katrillion.com - Music Feature - Dream Street Hit the Big Time or go directly to the video interview at http://www.katrillion.com/editorial/playvideo.jsp?video=d/dreamstreet_higher.mov.

-Dream Street had an extremely busy week this past week. There was a great turnout of fans at all of their shows in Pennsylvania and Ohio. The show in Allentown, PA had such a large turn out that too many tickets were sold and the fire marshal had to come in to make sure it was a safe environment. Unfortunately, due to the mistakes on the part of the owner of the Crocodile Rock, some fans were turned away. Dream Street is very apologetic and hope the fans understand that it was not their fault. To read articles from Allentown's newspaper about the chaos you can check out: Oversold concert prompts fire officials to turn patrons away, Band draws too many, and Crocodile Rocks stage capacity is 1,170, city fire inspector says.

-The Alloy Sale 2002 girls clothing catalog features an ad for Dream Street's album. In addition www.alloy.com has a contest featuring Jamie-Lynn Sigler (who is on Edel Entertainment) and it suggests checking out her label mates, Dream Street and provides a link to the official DS website.

-Dream Street conversation hearts have arrived in stores! The Valentine's Day favorites (made by Necco) feature Dream Street on the box and the hearts have the following sayings: Jesse, Chris, Matt, Frankie, Greg, Dream St, Be Mine, Lets Meet, Sugar Rush, Dream Boy, My Star, Dreamy, Love Me, and UR Hot. They should be available in most stores, but have already been spotted at Walmart!

Check out the January 2002 issue of Pop Star Magazine. Not only is there a Dream Street picture on the cover, but there is an awesome DS centerfold (page 49), a pinup on page 59 and an in depth interview, where the boys reveal things about them that you've never heard before on page 58. Pick up your copy before they're all gone!

Greg Raposo and Chris Trousdale from the "hit boy band" Dream Street. They were then interviewed and talked about how music was uplifting and they were happy to do something to lift people's spirits at a time when so many people are feeling down.
